Found by Jonathan Kopeth in Paleloan village around Lake Tondano, Minahasa, Indonesia around 2021.

Name Origin:

Anthurium Nonie is named after the characteristics of an old woman (Granny Martha) who cultivated this plant for the first time in Paleloan Village, Minahasa, which was brought from outside the island of Sulawesi around 1975 and discovered by Jonathan Kopeth at her house in 2021.

Growth Habit:

Grows in tropical climates, Paleloan Village, Minahasa with cool temperatures (15°-22°C).

Leaf Blade:

Leaves are oval in shape with closed leaf sinuses, young leaves are bright red with a reddish crystal tinge, and old leaves are dark green with reddish petioles.

Bloom and Fruit:

The spadix is ​​brown color with green spadix stems.
