It resembles the "Kalis", a weapon of the people from the Mindanao region.

Growth Habit:

This species is a climbing aroid. Which can adapt to walls, pavements, moss slabs. In the wild it climbs on trees, limestones etc.

They posess long and narrow leaves.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

The leaves of this particular species becomes narrower the bigger it gets. When most scindapsus have different patterns, the "Kalis" differs in leaf shape.
